We're Da Bomb
Nukes for Sale, SUV's funding terror, and Canadians making more trouble
Ok, brief beginning notes today, we're a bit behind schedule already. So, as you may have read here yesterday, the North Korea thing gets more complicated by the day. In reality, the US is now sending a message that if you cooperate to an extent with us, but we don't like you, we're still going to wipe you out (Iraq), and that if you are a nation who the US doesn't like but you have a nuclear weapon we will negotiate with you, even after we said we wouldn't (North Korea). Therefore, if you are a nation who has bad relations with the US (or hell, if you just want us to pay attention to you more!) your rational choice is obviously to obtain a atomic bomb, either through know how and research or by buying one from North Korea (Sale until Saturday only: buy 3 warheads, get an ICBM free!). In this vein Brazil made it be known the other day that, "well, we don't really want a bomb, and we're not going to make any, but we think its important that we can figure out how to make one so we have that ability if we want to. You know, its just a game, just seeing if we could do it. It has nothing to do that we have a left-wing government now and that we've watched closely the multiple coup attempts you've launched at Venezuela after they democratically elected a left-winger. Of course, the US doesn't have a democratically elected president, but we won't talk about that. But make sure you don't send Barbara Bush to Rio again. Please, it got ugly on the topless beach." What is this, jumbo erector set time? Once again, Bush likes to see things in black and white, except there is way too much gray in this situation, and he better be careful. (Read Brazil's ravings: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/200301 07/ap_wo_en_po/la_sci_brazil_nuclear_technology_1) Ok, lets start the rest of the insanity:
