Slipping and Sliding
Bush still insane, Lott losing his grip, and fighting them crocs...
Yikes, it was a pain getting in today! Actually, it probably would have been easier if I was driving, b/c the crews had done a good job there, but walking was very dangerous...took about twice as long as usual to make it in. But, now that we're only getting rain here things should be ok at least for the evening rush, before it all freezes over again tonight! I am happy to report that yesterday evening, just hours after I had called to request it, a plow/salt truck paid my street another visit. Of course, the whole ice storm thing negated any benefit there, but the effort is noted and appreciated, AND someone from Public Works actually called me at the office to make sure the road was ok! Maybe there's hope for DC snow removal yet! Now if they would just collect the trash...
