Sorry about the delay today, we had server problems earlier, and then I was in a meeting for a bit, which is why I'm so short today as well. Anyway, right to the insanity...make sure you read the last story too, if you've been having a bad day it will make you feel better. Or at least it did that for me.
Where is big ball of fire? There has not been a clear day in Washington for an entire month, and most of those 30 days have included rain...including today. And the rest of the week. In fact, the whole 7-day. No wonder people are crazy -

Most important technological change in American's lives in last 6 months: Self-checkout lanes are expanding beyond the grocery store. Personally, I like to use them for smaller loads of stuff (with a big cart at the grocery store, I still like to have someone bag for me), but once of the nicest things about the self-checkouts is that they're always open, unlike the rest of the store that only has 3 out of 15 lanes open as usual -
