Over Before it Starts?
Kerry mops up 3 more wins, Rod Paige fights the terrorists, and how to punish Disney in NJ?
Big wins for Kerry again yesterday...can Edwards hang on? Delegates have been posted for Idaho and Hawaii, but we're still awaiting the Utah CD breakdown. The news in Hawaii is that Dennis Kucinich finally won delegates, taking 8 to Kerry's 12. Kucinich still trails Sharpton in the race, but it's nice he finally got some.
Kerry's comments on Good Morning America today aren't going to endear him to the Dean people he's trying to win over...Regarding Bush's charge that he has flip flopped on tax cuts, NAFTA, the Patriot Act and the liberation of Iraq, Kerry said: "I oppose the way the president is implementing those efforts. I don't oppose those efforts."
Onto the insanity...
The Bush Economy: Alan Greenspan apparently hasn't gotten Dick Cheney's memo that deficits don't matter, because he urged Congress to cut the deficit today. Being a good Republican though, he suggested cutting Social Security benefits instead of raising taxes to where they were during the Clinton boom -

The Primaries: Kerry won all 3 last night, questioning if John Edwards really is building momentum, or is yesterday's news -

Bad John Edwards Photo of the Day:
Man, I've had some people pose in front of my picture, but really...
Make it Gay! The Gay Marriage Debate: Many Republicans are opposed to a Constitutional Amendment banning gay marriage, thus making it unlikely to pass, whatever the rhetoric -

So much for that compassionate conservative thing. And if Bush thinks this pandering to the right will pick him up votes, he may be dead wrong -

While most folks don't support gay marriage, they don't support messing with the Constitution either -

The Highly Efficient Model of Governance that is the District of Columbia: Don't drink the water people...you know when I moved to DC in 1996, there was a boil order on the water...now, 8 years later...there's a boil order on the water. Glad to see Tony Williams is doing so well -

Terrorists in the Classroom: The NEA is demanding Bush fire Education Secretary Rod Paige for calling them a "terrorist group". Paige apologized for his words, but also said he meant it -
